TVS Motors has been selling its range of motorcycles and scooters in Nepal for years now and the latest addition to their Nepal portfolio is the NTorq Race Edition. It is priced at NPR 246900 which is about 14,000 Nepalese rupees more than the norma version.
The NTorq Race Edition was launched in India a while back at INR 69,475 but the high price in Nepal is due to a weaker currency and extremely high import duties. Nevertheless, given its striking design and differentiating elements, we are sure the Race Edition will be a hit with the youth. The Race Edition has similar tech specs as the normal version. It comes powered by a 3-valve 125cc motor which produces 9.4 PS of power and 10.5 Nm of torque. These are excellent figures for the segment of 125cc scooters. Further more, the exhaust note is very sporty and the scooter offers good dynamics without compromising on the comfort factor. In terms of differences as compared to the normal NTorq, the Race Edition gets 3 tone color combination which does look striking. Further, the sharp T shaped LED DRL steals the show up front, making this the best looking scooter in the country.
The TVS NTorq Race Edition also gets race inspired decals and a race inspired App UI. TVS is exporting its entire range to Nepal via Jagdamba Motors Pvt. Ltd. who have been the sole authorized distributor of TVS Motor Company in Nepal from September 2015
