VLF Mobster 135
The VLF Mobster 135 is a performance-oriented scooter powered by a 125cc liquid-cooled engine, brought to India via the CKD route - a key reason for its premium pricing. The engine produces 12.1 bhp and 11.7 Nm of torque. It comes with an 8-litre fuel tank, delivers a claimed mileage of 46 kmpl, and offers a range of up to 380 km on a full tank, according to VLF. Currently, it is being offered at a special introductory price of Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom) for the first 2,500 customers, with a booking amount of just Rs 999. Now, onto its features:
The front panel houses twin-beam LED projector headlamps integrated into a split-design body panel, topped with a standard-fit flyscreen. This setup gives the section an eye-catching appeal. Additionally, the VLF Mobster 135 rides on 12-inch all-terrain tyres, whose wide profile enhances grip and cornering performance.
Moving to the mechanicals, the VLF Mobster 135 is equipped with dual-channel ABS and fully switchable traction control. The front suspension uses telescopic forks, while the rear setup consists of dual gas-charged pro shock absorbers. Adding to its practicality, it also comes with brake lever protectors and a touring seat with tailbone support.
Features
The VLF Mobster 135 comes equipped with a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity for navigation and more. On the handlebar, it features illuminated switches, while a first-in-segment highlight is the auto start-stop function. Rounding off the package are a 12V charging port and keyless-go ignition with illumination.
VLF Mobster 135 is available in four colour options - Crimson Override, Ghostlight, Ash Circuit, and Neon Venom. VLF is offering special benefits, including a 4-year / 40,000 km warranty and complimentary RSA for 1 year. Over the next 3 months, VLF will open 25 showrooms across the country, along with the Motohaus Pitchcrew van.

Verdict
VLF entered the Indian market earlier this year with its electric scooter, the Tennis, which failed to make much of an impact. Now, the brand is back with an ICE performance scooter. One of the coolest aspects of the Mobster 135 is its design - edgy, bold, and full of swag. Renowned Italian designer Alessandro Tartarini has certainly cast his magic on it. However, since VLF is still a relatively unknown name in India, convincing buyers purely on the basis of performance could be a challenge.
