- PGPankaj Gupta31 Days ago3.8I bought the Hero Super Splendor Xtec thinking it would be a reliable Indian brand alternative to the Honda Sp 125. Design-wise, the bike looks stylish and premium. It offers good comfort for daily commuting. The mileage is decent, and the overall body quality also feels strong and durable. But the main issue is not with the bike it’s with Hero as a company. I chose Hero over Honda thinking of supporting an Indian brand, but now i honestly regret it. The customer support is poor, hero showrooms are not transparent, and the service centers are even worse. They claim that this bike comes with 5 free services, but after buying, the service center and shop staff said only 4 are free because it’s a bs6 model. Why don’t they update this important information? Even when i contacted customer care, they seemed confused and gave no clear answer. At the time of buying, the showroom forced unnecessary memberships and addons, charging extra money for things that give little to no value to the customer. The service center experience is frustrating. Under the name of free service, they keep changing parts unnecessarily and give inflated bills. I was charged up to ₹1600 during a free service, even though there was no real issue with the parts they replaced. After just two services, my bike's fuel injection system got damaged, and the self-start also stopped working. Instead of improving after service, the bike started giving more problems. I had high hopes for Hero, but sadly, the experience has been disappointing. Hero seriously needs to improve its customer support, update its communication, and ensure better transparency in both sales and service.LikeReplyRead more
