The brand has launched the updated model of the Perak with some internal enhancements to improve the engine performance and to make the motorcycle more refined. The brand has updated a lot of internal components to give a better experience to the rider.
The 2024 Jawa Perak is priced at Rs 2.13 lakh (ex-showroom). It now comes with a new dual-tone paint scheme with brass work. The motorcycle gets a new Black/Matte Grey dual-tone paint. To keep the old-school charm the brand has given brass fuel tank badging and fuel filler cap. Not only this, the Perak now also gets more forward-set foot pegs and a new 7-step preload adjustable mono-shock suspension for better ride quality.
As seen in the teaser, the new Perak will be more or less similar to the current bike. A silhouette of the bike from the rear also hints at the same. Moreover, the instrument cluster shown is also similar to the current model. In fact, the single seat is clearly visible in the teaser. Moreover, a slight glimpse of the fuel tank shows golden paint stripes, hinting that the bike will possibly get new colours.
Jawa Motorcycles, now owned by Classic Legends, made its comeback in India in 2018 with the Jawa Classic and the Jawa Forty-Two. Both motorcycles have recently received a BS6 update, keeping the iconic brand compliant with the latest emission norms.
