The 85 SX appears the closest to a full-size dirt bike, with a simple, minimalist design and a typical tall dirtbike stance.

The presence of knobby tyres makes the 85 SX look even more imposing, and there is only one colour scheme on offer; orange with black graphics.

The fuel tank has been designed to be small and sleek enough for all kinds of growing riders to be comfortable on the motorcycle, and it also gets footpegs which are designed to allow minimal or no dirt to get stuck on them.

Powering the 85 SX is an 85cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 15.5bhp at 11500rpm and 14Nm of torque at 8500rpm, paired to a 6-speed gearbox.

KTM says this engine packs a sophisticated power delivery system, which controls the exhaust valve and the sub-exhaust ports, ensuring enhanced torque and power delivery.

The 85 SX comes with a double-cradle frame and an aluminium sub-frame, which makes use of 43mm USD XACT WP forks, featuring a split fork design with a capsuled air spring in the left leg and an oil damping system in the right leg. At the rear is a fully-adjustable XACT WP PDS monoshock with 305mm of travel.

The 85 SX makes use of a 19-inch front and a 16-inch rear wheel, shod on Maxxis MX-ST knobby tyres, and mounted on CNC-machined hubs. It also makes use of a 240mm front disc brake with a four-piston calliper, along with a 220mm rear disc brake with a dual-piston calliper.
