Yamaha reduced prices of the R15 lineup by Rs 5,000 across all variants as part of its 70th anniversary celebration, with prices now starting from Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle continues with the 155cc liquid-cooled engine and features including traction control, assist and slipper clutch and quickshifter depending on variant. The revision makes the supersport more accessible for a limited period.
Yamaha updates the R15 lineup for 2025 with new colour options across the R15M, R15 V4 and R15S variants. The motorcycle remains mechanically unchanged and continues with the 155cc liquid-cooled engine producing 18.4 hp and 14.2 Nm paired to a 6-speed gearbox. Features like traction control, assist and slipper clutch and quickshifter continue depending on variant.
Yamaha launches the R15S V3 in India priced at Rs 1.57 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The motorcycle gets a single-piece seat and continues with features like dual-channel ABS, assist and slipper clutch and LCD instrument console while missing traction control and quickshifter. It remains powered by the 155cc liquid-cooled engine producing 18.34 bhp and 14.1 Nm paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
