New Colours For The 2025 Yamaha R15
The flagship Yamaha R15 M now gets a brand-new Metallic Grey shade. The subtle yet premium finish complements its sporty styling and lends the bike a more sophisticated aura. Interestingly, the new paint scheme makes this version slightly more affordable than before, further sweetening its appeal for enthusiasts looking for a higher-end option in the R15 range. The R15 Version 4 is the biggest beneficiary of this update, gaining three fresh colour schemes. A sleek Metallic Black has been added, joining the updated Racing Blue with sharper graphics.
Most notably, Yamaha has introduced the Matte Pearl White, a globally popular R-Series colour, to India for the first time. Powering the R15 range is Yamaha's 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 18.4hp and 14.2 Nm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Features include Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) for smoother performance across the rev range, traction control, an assist and slipper clutch, and a quickshifter (offered on select variants like the R15M). Suspension duties are handled by upside-down forks at the front and a linked-type monoshock at the rear, while the rigid Deltabox frame continues to ensure razor-sharp handling.
