Hyundai Creta 2018-2020
Hyundai Creta 2018-2020 Latest Update
When the original Creta was launched in 2015, it re-wrote the rule book for the compact 4m+ SUV category. Not only did it go on to the become the largest selling SUV in its segment, the Creta created benchmarks that others failed to meet, let alone break. But, with rising competition, Hyundai had to do something radically different and in comes in the 2020 model. It hardly shares anything with the model it replaces and seems all set to once again rule the segment. While we do agree the design is overdone and subjective, the front end is striking. With the lights ON, this part of the vehicle overshadows others on the road - likewise, the rear executive is very different but looks great at night. On the whole, the new Creta does manage to have ample road presence and you can’t miss it at all. The cabin has to be one of the best things about the new Creta. It looks very premium and as is the case with most Hyundai vehicles, quality levels are high. Feature list on the older Creta was best in segment (at launch) and the new one continues on the same legacy. Likewise, the engine line up is as impressive, offering two petrol and one diesel engine option. Happy to report that there is an automatic across all three powertrains and like the Harrier, the new Creta too offers traction modes to satisfy adventure seekers. There is no denying the fact that finding a genuine shortcoming in the new Creta is impossible. This surely remains ‘the perfect SUV’ in the segment
