Hyundai launched the much-awaited 2020 Creta at a starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and needless to say, the SUV does carry a plethora of features in the new generation. The pricing too is competitive with its rivals and furthermore, Hyundai is also offering an optional accessories package for 2020 Creta to the customers who want it more.
Hyundai calls it as an 'Adventure Pack' accessories kit which is suitable for all trims of 2020 Creta SUV and is available at all dealership levels. This kit comes with exterior detailing like the chrome packages, plastic cladding and among others.
Starting off, this kit carries chrome detailing on the door handles, fog light housing at the front, reflectors at the rear, exhaust tips and many others. The car also gets silver finish on front and rear skid plates, faux dual exhaust tips are seen at the rear.
The plastic cladding follows on the door too gets 'Adventure' engraved in regard to the Adventure accessory pack. You can also opt for side-steps which makes the look aesthetic, however, it will slightly decrease the ground clearance. Please note that these accessories can only be opted at dealership levels and does not come from the company. Also, they particularly stick with exteriors and not interiors.
Sharing more details then the 2020 Hyundai Creta comes with three all-new BS6 engines which are borrowed from the Kia Seltos. It sports two petrol and one diesel unit - the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol motor churning 115 bhp and the 1.4L turbo petrol making 140 bhp with 242 Nm of peak torque. The diesel makes 115 bhp and 250 Nm of torque.
Transmission sticks to a 6-speed manual as standard for the 1.5L petrol and diesel, optional IVT and 6-speed AT is reserved for optional automatics of these engines. The 1.4L turbo petrol only comes with a 7-speed DCT gearbox. Please note, Kia offers a manual gearbox for the turbo petrol engine.
The 2020 Hyundai Creta starts at a price of Rs 9.99 lakh and goes up till Rs 17.20 lakh. All prices stick to ex-showroom, Delhi. The mid-size SUV competes with the likes of Tata Harrier, Kia Seltos, Nissan Kicks, Mahindra XUV500 and MG Hector.
