Hyundai IONIQ 9Upcoming

Last Update 26th Dec'24: Hyundai has unveiled its third IONIQ model, the IONIQ 9 electric SUV globally. The IONIQ 9 comes with a futuristic design and it is the first 3-row electric SUV in the Hyundai lineup. It will be powered by a 110.3 kWh battery pack offering a range of over 600 km on a single charge. 

Design: The IONIQ 9 boasts the signature IONIQ design language with LED Parametric Pixels signature lights. The side profile gets aerodynamic design and a single curved roofline. Additionally, the brand will offer different alloy wheel sizes ranging from 19-21 inches. At the rear, the IONIQ 9 gives a reminiscent of a boat tail with its sleek pixel LED taillamps and a sleek roofline. 

Powertrain: The IONIQ 9 will be powered by a 110.3 kWh battery pack which will offer a range of over 600 km to the EV. Moreover, it will be available in multiple drivetrain options. The RWD long-range version will come with a 160 kW rear axle motor, the AWD long-range version will get a 70kW front axle motor in addition to the rear one, and the performance version will get a 160 kW motor on both axles. 

Features: The IONIQ 9 features 2 12.3-inch screens for infotainment and instrument cluster, it gets a huge panoramic sunroof, relaxation seats in the first and second row, V2L, digital side mirrors, 100W USB Type C ports in all three rows, park assist, Hyundai Driving assist among other features. 

Pricing: Hyundai has not yet revealed the timeline of the launch of the IONIQ 9 in the Indian market. However, if introduced, it is expected to be priced above ₹1 crore in India.
