- ABS With EBD
- Rear Parking Sensors
- ESP (electronic stability program)
- Hill Hold Assist
- ISOFIX chil seat mounts
- 3-point seatbelts for rear passengers
Powertrains
There are no changes to the engines, and thats a good thing. You still get the trusted and efficient options. It comes with a 1.5-litre petrol engine, which produces 103.6 PS and 139 Nm of torque when paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The petrol variants are priced between Rs 11.42 lakh to Rs 19.80 lakh (ex-showroom) and offer an impressive mileage of 21.11 kmpl with the manual transmission, 20.58 kmpl with the automatic, and 19.20 kmpl with the ALLGRIP AWD automatic.
Moreover, it also gets a 1.5-litre strong hybrid petrol unit that produces 92.45 PS and 122 Nm of torque, paired with an e-CVT transmission. This setup delivers a segment-leading mileage of 27.97 kmpl, with prices ranging from Rs 16.99 lakh to Rs 20.68 lakh (ex-showroom).
New Alloys: A Fresh Look

The older alloy design has been replaced with a new set of stylish and more sporty alloy wheels. These new alloys elevate the SUV's road presence and add a more contemporary vibe, although size is kept same, 17 Inch.
Panoramic Sunroof

Now you get the sunroof in the Alpha+ (O) variant. One major upgrade is that the sunroofs inner shade has been significantly improved. The older one was thin and translucent, allowing sunlight and heat to filter through even when closed. In the 2025 version, its been replaced with a thicker and better shade that blocks light and heat far more effectively.
Enhanced Comfort And Convenience

- New Rear Window Sunshades: One of the biggest additions in the rear row is the manual rear sunshades. These help to cut down the glare and direct sunlight, making rear-seat journeys far more pleasant, especially during Indian summers.
- Dual Type-C Charging ports: Another upgrade is the two USB Type-C charging ports at the rear. This change ensures all passengers can keep their devices powered up on the go.
PM 2.5 Air Purifier: To ensure a healthier and cleaner cabin environment, Maruti has now integrated a PM 2.5 air purifier. It filters out harmful fine particles and pollutants.

8-way Adjustable Powered driver seat: The earlier Grand Vitara only offered a manually adjustable seat for the driver. But now, with the 8-way powered adjustable seat, comfort and ease of access get a serious upgrade. This allows drivers to fine-tune their seat positioning electrically, including height and lumbar support, offering better ergonomics for long drives.

Verdict
The 2025 Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara doesn't rewrite the formula, but it refines itself. The introduction of crucial safety features like six standard airbags, added comfort tech like the 8-way powered seat, and practical enhancements such as better sunroof insulation and rear charging ports all work together to elevate its value. While the powertrain remains unchanged (which isn't a bad thing), these feature updates make the Grand Vitara feel more premium and future-ready.
