Before diving into the details, let's just talk about the obvious - the Glamour X looks premium and out of the box. Despite being a simple commuter-friendly motorcycle, it has gained a racing bike-like attitude, and from the side profile, it's hard to believe that this is a 125cc motorcycle built to take people from one place to another in the most comfortable manner. The front profile, with that large visor and H-shaped LED lights, just adds a sporty flavour. Those tank shrouds and bold character lines send the message that the youth is its target audience. Now, with all the accessories, it transforms into a cruiser-like shape. The great part about it is that it has a claimed fuel efficiency of 65 kmpl, so people who want to stand out but aren't willing to pay several visits to petrol station, will find it tempting.

Front Profile

The Glamour X comes equipped with H-shaped LED headlights that look fantastic and add a futuristic vibe. The large visor gives the front profile an ultra-premium appearance, and Hero says it's designed to improve aerodynamics. For those who prefer a subtler look, Hero also offers a regular-sized visor as part of its accessories package. The bike features telescopic front suspension, 80/100-18 tubeless wheels, and comes with both disc and drum brake options.

Side Profile

This section gives the bike a sporty-cruiser vibe, thanks to the large fuel tank and muscular tank shrouds that enhance its aggressive stance. There's also a belly pan, which doubles as an engine guard. Although it's made of plastic - something typically seen on performance bikes - Hero has included it on the Glamour X as a stylish touch. Interestingly, the bike also retains a kick-starter, a feature that's slowly disappearing, but Hero has wisely kept it to preserve the commuter-friendly practicality.

The seat is quite large, and the rear section where the pillion sits has been enlarged by about 10%. Additionally, theres an under-seat storage compartment at the back that can accommodate two mobile phones and an AirPods case.

Rear Profile

Here, the design once again feels both futuristic and functional. The H-shaped theme continues with the tail-lamps, while the LED indicators are exclusive to the disc variant. Adding to the practicality, the bike features a large grab handle. Lastly, it comes equipped with a panic brake alert, and the rear tyre shares the same profile as the front.

Verdict

The Hero Glamour X appears like a perfect recipe for hitting the hearts of metropolitan youth who love all the modern amenities, but don't want to spend that extra and miss out on great fuel efficiency. Hero has shocked the industry by offering cruise control and ride-by-wire in a 125cc bike. However, 95% of its owners will use it in the city, hence it will be interesting to see how customers accept it. Apart from that, it has everything one really wants from a 125cc motorcycle.
