Front Profile

Tiago.ev

This is a major facelift for the Tata Tiago.ev, and both the front and rear profiles have changed drastically, giving it a fresher and more urban-centric appearance. The design clearly reflects Tata's intention to target younger, Gen-Z buyers. The front fascia follows a clean single-tone theme with no traditional grille, while even the bumper is finished in the same body colour. In fact, the Tata logo is the only element that breaks the monotony, making the front look extremely minimalistic. Moreover, the LED headlamp design feels rather basic and boxy in appearance.

Side profile

The side profile gets subtle updates, including chrome inserts on the door handles and a Tata.ev badge placed near the edge of the front doors. The grey body cladding helps break the monotony of the exterior colour. Talking about the wheels, the Tiago.ev gets 14-inch flex wheels made of plastic. Apart from these changes, the overall silhouette remains similar to the previous model.

Moving to the rear, the hatchback now features a connected light bar and newly shaped LED tail-lamps. Below the Tata badging sits the Tiago.ev lettering, while the rear bumper gets a contrasting finish instead of the body-coloured treatment seen at the front, giving the rear a slightly different design identity.

Interior

Tiago.ev

The interior follows a dual-tone theme with fabric upholstery and gets a newly designed dashboard layout along with redesigned AC vents for both the central and side sections. It also features a new dual-spoke steering wheel with mounted controls and Tata.ev badging at the centre.

The major highlight is the new 10.24 inch HD touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Another important addition is the 360-degree parking camera, which makes the Tiago.ev an even more attractive electric hatchback.

There are plenty of utility spaces inside the cabin, including a dual-phone placement area where one side supports wireless charging while the other is a standard storage slot. There is also additional space for storing bottles in the door pockets, along with another bottle holder in the centre console. The driver's display is also new and measures 5 inches.

Overall, the cabin feels better designed and more spacious, with enough knee room even for taller passengers. The front seats also get extended thigh support, similar to what we recently saw on the Tata Altroz facelift. The interior definitely feels like a significant upgrade over the outgoing model.

Verdict

The new Tata Tiago.ev feels significantly more modern, feature-rich and urban-focused than before. While the exterior design may not appeal to everyone, the refreshed cabin, added practicality and premium features make it feel like a much better-rounded product. Overall, Tata has successfully made the Tiago.ev more appealing to younger buyers looking for an affordable yet stylish electric hatchback.
