Tata Tiago. ev #What's New

The headline additions are hard to ignore for this segment. You get a 10.25 inch HD touchscreen - first in class - along with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital Island Cluster, and passive entry & passive start that you'd normally find on cars costing significantly more. The iRA.ev connected suite covers over 40 features including remote cabin pre-cooling, smartwatch integration, and live charging status. Fully Automatic Temperature Control and a 65W Type-C USB charger are welcome additions too.

Design

The car looks more grown-up. lux beam LED headlamps, a connected lightbar tail lamp, and R14 alloys give it a presence the outgoing car lacked. The dual-tone black roof and CosmoGrain wheel arch cladding add visual bulk without being overdone. Step inside and the fabric rich dashboard, twin-spoke steering wheel, and dual-tone theme make it feel like a genuine step up - not just a refresh.
Features
The Next Gen Tiago.ev gets a solid features haul for its segment. Inside, there's a 10.24 inch HD touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital Cluster, Passive Entry and Start, Fully Automatic Temperature Control, rear AC vents, and a 65W Type-C USB charger.
Safety is covered with 6 airbags, a 360 HD camera with multiple 2D/3D views, blind view monitor, and ESP as standard. The iRA.ev connected suite handles the usual remote functions - cabin pre-cooling, live charging status, geo-fencing, and more. Nothing revolutionary, but well-specced for the money.

Battery & Charging
Two packs: 19.2 kWh for 160-170 km of real-world range, and 24 kWh stretching that to 205-215 km counted as C75. The bigger news is charging - 100 km added in 18 minutes on a DC fast charger, with 10-80% done in 35 minutes flat on both packs. The included 3.3 kW home wall box handles an overnight charge easily, and an optional 7.2 kW unit brings it down to under 3 hours.
Tata is also throwing in a lifetime battery warranty on the 24 kWh variant for the first owner - a strong confidence play in a segment where buyer hesitation around battery longevity is still real.
