Talking more about the 2020 Audi A8L then the India specific version will get the petrol engine at first. The flagship sedan will rival the likes of BMW 7-Series, Mercedes Benz S-Class and Jaguar XJL.
The new Audi A8L sits on the Volkswagen MLB Evo platform and it now measures 5,302 mm in length, 1,945 mm in width and 1,488 mm in height. The wheelbase sticks to 3,128 mm which is now 6mm larger than before. Surely, the 2020 Audi A8L has increased in dimensions as it is now 37 mm longer and 17 mm taller. The width is shortened by a mere 4 mm.
It is the design language of the 2020 Audi A8 which speaks for itself. The latest LED headlamp design followed by a larger grille packs the dominance. At the rear, the OLED technology taillights are joined with a full-width light bar with a hint of a chrome strip.
Audi has been known for bringing the latest technology and gizmos into their newer models. Following the trend, the 2020 Audi A8L gets a virtual cockpit for the instrument console. Also, there will be twin screens at the dashboard, first will be a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. And another will be a 8.6-inch screen controlling the climate control and seating functions.
What's interesting is the availability of foot massager for the rear-seat passengers as it is an advantage over its rivals. Also, the newer model gets Level 3 Autonomous driving tech, however, we are not sure if the India specific model will receive it.
