Maruti Suzuki just unveiled the facelift of the Maruti Vitara Brezza at the 2020 Auto Expo and the bookings for the same has started. The biggest highlight of this new SUV is the availability of a 1.5L petrol engine which comes with SHVS mild hybrid system.
The bookings for the 2020 Maruti Brezza facelift can be done across all Arena dealerships. The 1.5L petrol engine is the same which is seen in the XL6, Ciaz and Ertiga. This engine comes with a 12V battery pack which sits under the passenger's seat.
It produces 77KW@6000 rpm with a top-end torque of 138Nm@4400rpm leading to deliver a peppy driving experience. The engine will offer superior NVH characteristics, best-in-class fuel efficiency and improved cooling performance. Transmission sticks to a 5-speed manual and a four-speed torque converter.
Sharing more details on the facelifted version then it gets updated front and rear fascia. Upfront the compact SUV gets integrated grille with DRLs. It also gets new LED projector light set up and integrated turn signals. The dual-tone diamond-cut 16-inch alloy wheels are also new on the Brezza.
The interiors of the Maruti Brezza gets a larger 17.78 cm touchscreen infotainment system which gets Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as connectivity features. The touchscreen also gets live traffic navigation and access to curated online content. The system also provides vehicle alerts.
