A Gurudwara Makes Use Of Mahindra EV To Help Covid-19 patients

Everyone must have heard the saying when technology meets innovation but have you heard about saying when technology meeting compassion?
A Gurudwara South City 1 in Gurgaon has been distributing meals twice a day to Covid-19 patients with their Mahindra Treo Zor electric vehicle (EV). This three-wheeler has seen all the hardships of people. No, It's not an android to literally see but it is definitely something that is out of the ordinary, at least to the owner.

The pandemic has certainly affected the middle-class society at large but more importantly, it has affected the poor. It has come to the realisation of many that the world has come to a complete stop. The livelihood of many has been shut down due to COVID-19 and the ones who were struggling prior to the pandemic are suffering even more in the present timeline.

The needy have become even needier and the rich are on their knees surrendering to the pandemic. At a time like this, one can only think of a hero in a cape who would come to the recuse. With this thought in mind, the good people of Gurgaon have come together to rescue.

Gurudwara South City 1 in Gurgaon has come for help by using their electric vehicle to distribute meals twice a day for free to COVID-19 patients and their families who cannot cook. They have stated that around 800 to 1,000 meals a day are delivered to the homes.

The service was initiated last month by the Gurudwara which has been continuing to provide food to date. What caught our eyes is the Mahindra Treo Zor Electric three-wheeler which is used to deliver food at the doorstep of COVID-19 patients.

About the Mahindra Treo Zor EV:

The Mahindra Treo Zor EV is an electric three-wheeler that offers 10.7hp and a torque of 42Nm. This might seem like a puny figure but if one considers the fact that this EV is lightweight, then it would be clear that these figures seem to be enough and more to carry passengers or load. The Mahindra Treo Zor EV gets the longest wheelbase in its segment too (ie-2,216mm).

If you are looking for a long-term cargo/commuter for your business, then this EV is the perfect one since the company is offering a 3 year or 80,000km warranty on the battery. Interestingly, Mahindra is providing an option for extending the standard warranty to an additional 2 years/1lakh km.

Mahindra Treo Zor has achieved this stance in just six months from the day of its launch and has acquired a market share of 59 per cent in this three-wheeler segment.
