Citroen India is taking baby steps into the Indian market and the first product will be the C5 Aircross. One point is evident that Citroen won't make a boom in the first year unlike Kia Motors India and MG Motor India. Unlike the newer entrants, Citroen will offer the C5 Aircross via the CKD route and it will be targeted at premium buyers. Moreover, Citroen is also developing a Sub-compact SUV for the Indian market which will take on the likes of the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue and others.

In the pictures, not much details are visible but the front of the test mule is typical Citroen. We can see split-headlights with cube-shaped LEDs sitting on top. The grille is slim with Citroen logo in the middle and another grille for the radiator down below. Moreover, the test mule is said to be the base trim as it had halogen-based headlights and steel wheels.
