How To Disinfect Your Car If You Drove COVID+ Patient To Hospital?

India is going through a tough phase right now and it is better to stay at home and thus stay safe. However, sometimes that is not possible because of the unexpected urgent work or chores or if you are an essential worker. So let's say you are someone who's having CODID+ symptoms and drove your car unknowingly or you are someone who transported a COVID+ patient in your car to the hospital because of the situation. So how will you disinfect your car in such conditions? Well, we have you covered. Just follow these four simple steps and you are good to go!

Step 1 - Wear Double Mask, Disposable Gloves And Clean Hi-Touch Points

Well, before entering the car, make sure you are wearing disposable gloves. After you've worn them, take the surface disinfectant and clean the hi-touch points of the car using a clean cloth. The hi-touch points include door handles, parking brake, gear lever, steering wheel, music control buttons, interior door handles and the seats.

Step 2 - Park the car under sunlight and improve the airflow of your vehicle

Basically, you need to park the car under direct sunlight so all the living bacterias die. Also, open the windows, doors and the boot so the airflow increases in the cabin. This will ensure better output and now wait for few minutes. 10 minutes will be good.

Step 3 - Repeat Step 1 again

An added measure of safety is always welcomed and repeat step 1 again before parking your car in the spot. Make sure you do it thoroughly this time and do not miss out on any hi-touch points. Also, wear double masks and fresh disposable gloves.

Note

Do not use bleach or hydrogen peroxide. Manier times it is said to remove the stains that are caught on the interiors and remove the dirt substance. However, refrain from using this as both these substances deteriorates the interior of your car.
