Original Article - December 5, 2020; Honda Two-wheelers India recently launched the new 2020 Honda H'Ness CB 350 BS6 in the country. The new H'Ness CB 350 BS6 is the first sub-500cc retro cruiser from this Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer in the Indian market. This new Honda H'Ness CB 350 made its World Premiere in India and it created a lot of buzz in the market as this retro cruiser is really very good. However, Honda is not going to stop just here and the company is now developing a scrambler version of the same. The all-new 2021 Honda H'Ness CB 350 BS6 Scrambler is in the making, so will it be launched soon?
If you remember, at the digital launch event of the new Honda H'Ness CB 350 in India, the company hinted that there will be more surprises in the future. The new H'Ness CB 350 is sold via the company's premium BigWing dealerships. Also, you can see the above image which highlights Honda Two-wheeler India's existing line-up and the upcoming line-up of premium motorcycles that are (and will be) sold via the company's premium BigWing dealerships. This image was teased by the company during the launch event of the Honda H'Ness CB 350. If you closely look at the images of the last two motorcycles of the second row, they look completely identical to each other.
The last one came into shape in the form of the H'Ness CB 350 and so as per speculations and reports, the other one will be most likely the Scrambler version of the same. There we have two more motorcycles in the coming soon section, one of them will be the BS6-compliant CB 300R and the other one might be an all-new sub-500cc adventure motorcycle. Now, talking about the scrambler version of the H'Ness CB 350, so as you can see in the above-rendered image, the motorcycle will get quite a lot of changes. For starters, it will get new spoke wheels with knobby dual-purpose block-pattern tyres, new long-stroke suspension with fork cover gaiters and more.
As it will be a scrambler version, it will get a re-designed upswept exhaust with heat shield, a bash plate for engine protection and also a metallic grille for headlight protection. However, the mechanicals and all the features of the motorcycle will be most likely completely similar to the regular H'Ness CB 350. This means that it will be powered by an all-new BS6-compliant 348.3cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor will churn out 21.07 PS of maximum power at 5500 RPM and 30 Nm of peak torque at 3000 RPM. The engine will come mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. For braking duties, it will continue to get disc brakes at either end with dual-channel ABS as an additional safety aid.
The scrambler version of the H'Ness CB 350 might also get a lot of segment-best features like an informative instrument cluster, Honda's Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), an assist & slipper clutch, hazard light switch, etc. This was all about the upcoming 2021 Honda H'Ness CB 350 BS6 Scrambler. This new motorcycle is expected to be launched in Japan between June and August 2021. However, it will be first launched in our country and the India launch will be most likely in the first half of 2021. What are your thoughts on the upcoming 2021 Honda H'Ness CB 350 BS6 Scrambler?
