With the new emission norms starting from April 2020, several carmakers are gearing up for the regime. And the same can be said for Mahindra as they too will jazz up their SUV line-up. Starting with the oldest running Utility Vehicle from Mahindra, Bolero, the vehicle has been spotted in a production disguise in a BS6 look.
Spied in a pearl white shade, Mahindra Bolero BS6 receives some unique updates in terms of design. The variant we see is the Power Plus which sports 1.5L diesel engine. The same will do duty on the upcoming facelifted TUV300.

Sharing more details on the design part then the front gets an updated grille with restyled bumper and hood. Also, the placement of fog lights looks more clear now and if you look closely then it gets inspired by the pre-lift Scorpio. The headlights too see a fresh design with black inserts and mild usage of chrome.

Bringing you back to the engine, then the 1.5L BS6 compliant will churn out 71 bhp and the UV is expected to be sold in three trims - B4, B6 and top spec B6(O). Also, the other noticeable change is that the SUV also complies with the latest crash and safety norms which were introduced last year.

We are expecting a hike of Rs 60,000 on the prices of the new BS6 Bolero over the BS4 counterpart. The Bolero is the longest-running UV from Mahindra as it has been in the market for over two decades. The vehicle is quite popular in rural areas.

In other news, Mahindra will also bring in a new generation Scorpio and XUV500. Both the cars will be made on an updated platform and will carry on additional features and technology which makes it easier to compete with the rivals. There is no news as to when these two SUVs will be launched in the market but we're expecting an early 2021 date.
