Okinawa Praise Range New Colours

The Gurgaon-based EV maker Okinawa released the new update for its Praise range. The iPraise and the Praise Pro e-scooters are now available in 8 new colour options. This update has been done to celebrate the sales of more than 2.5 lakh e-scooters by the company. Additionally, both of the models remain unchanged in terms of design as well as features. Meanwhile, the prices of the new Praise range have been revised.

Speaking of the Praise Pro, it not gets Sun Orange, Seafoam Green, Military Green, and Mocha Brown colour options. However, the more premium e-scooter i.e. the i-Praise Plus gets Liquid Metal, Mauve Purple, Electric Green, and Ocean Blue shades. Meanwhile, both of these models are unchanged whatsoever. In fact, the features and even the basic design is same. Additionally, the specifications are also unchanged on both of these scooters.

The prices of Praise Pro now starts for Rs 99,645. However, it still uses a smaller battery pack of 2.08kWh. This scooter can do up to 81 km of riding range in ideal conditions. Meanwhile, the top speed is a claimed 56 kmph mark. Okinawa also offers multiple riding modes on this e-scooter. On the other hand, the i-Praise Plus gets a bigger battery pack of 3.6kWh. This Li-ion battery pack is detachable as well. Paried with a 2.7kW hub motor, this scooter can do up to 137 km per charge. Its prices start at Rs 1.45 lakh ex-shworoom.

Verdict

The new colour update on the Okinawa e-scooter has made them more attractive. Both models are already popular pan India. Okinawa's large dealership network and good after sales experience has helped it grow up to 2.5 lakh sales mark. Some of the main rivals of i-Praise Plus are - Ather 450X Gen 3 & Ola S1 Pro.
