This new platform will not only support ICE models but also the mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid systems as well. The first wave is likely to feature 48V mild hybrid tech with compact SUVs and midsize sedans. While, plug-in hybrid is likely to be reserved for the premium models like Kodiaq.
