The Czech carmaker recently announced that the first batch of the Skoda Kodiaq facelift was sold within twenty fours hours and the car currently has a waiting period of over four months in India. The price of the Skoda Kodiaq is however expected to receive a major hike as suggested by Zac Hollis, director, Sales and Marketing, Skoda India in one of his recent tweets.

The Skoda Kodiaq facelift gets a 2.0-L TSI turbo petrol engine that churns out 190 hp and comes mated to a 7-speed DCT gearbox. This engine not only offers commendable performance and refinement, but also helps the Kodiaq give tough competition to the rivals like the Toyota Fortuner, Volkswagen Tiguan, and the Citreon C5 Aircross. Additionally, the flagship SUV also gets dynamic chassis control to further improve the dynamics by adjusting the suspension softness based on the driving modes.
On the features front, the Skoda Kodiaq offers a long list of features. To start with, the car gets heated and cooled front seats, a 360-degree parking camera, a large panoramic sunroof and many other features like wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay, a wireless charging pad, etc. On the safety front, the car comes equipped with nine airbags, ESP, hill-start assist, hill descent control, electronic differential lock and many other advanced safety features.
