Yamaha India has been organising various on-ground activities for its customers and owners in India - for example the recently concluded mileage challenge. The next big event is scheduled for 9th October and is open to everyone free of cost. Yes, this track day, being organised at the mecca of motorsports can be accessed by anyone and everyone. However, to participate and ride your Yamaha model (list below) at BIC or Buddh International Circuit, you will need prior registration.
The track day experience is open to owners of the Yamaha YZF-R3, YZF-R15, MT-15, FZ range and the AEROX 155 moto-scooter. Riders can register at the company's website and will need to pay INR 2,000 as the charges. These charges also give you access to a free welcome kit consisting of a lanyard, face mask and an official T-shirt.
The event is officially known as "The Call of the Blue" and Yamaha customers will not only get an opportunity to experience the thrill of riding on a racetrack at India's finest circuit but will also be able to witness and be a part of other activities. Apart from the main track ride, the company is also organizing a bouquet of exciting activities like Drag Race, Gymkhana Ride and Slow Speed Balancing.
