Volkswagen Polo

Just recently, they brought in the turbo edition which is a limited one for the Comfortline. The 1.0L TSI motor is the only one that feels alive and urges the driver to rev hard. It is also economical to run as if you drive with a light right foot it can give you above 20 kmpl. We did the test in the manual and we were quite happy.

Currently, Volkswagen is offering a Rs 40,000 discount for the Polo BS6 models which is further seen as Rs 15,000 as a cash offer, Rs 20,000 as an exchange bonus and another Rs 5,000 as the corporate offer. The prices of Polo starts from Rs 6.06 lakh and the top model fetches till Rs 9.92 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
Volkswagen Vento
The C-Segment hatchback has been in the market for as long as its sibling Polo and its rivals giants like Maruti Ciaz, Hyundai Verna and Honda City. Skoda Rapid and Toyota Yaris also fall in the competition. Interestingly, both Vento and Rapid share the same underpinning but it is the Rapid that excels in terms of sales.
Volkswagen is offering Rs 25,000 as an exchange offer on the Vento and the sedan is also available at a special price offer. The Highline MT is priced at Rs 9.99 lakh while the Highline Plus MT available at Rs 10.99 lakh. For the automatic, the Highline sticks to Rs 11.49 lakh while the Highline Plus is 12.99 lakh. All prices stick to ex-showroom, Delhi.

In other news, Volkswagen also brought in the second batch of their mid-size SUV, T-Roc. It is now priced at Rs 21.35 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi which makes it Rs 1.36 lakh higher than the 2020 model. There are no mechanical or feature changes as such.
It still continues with a 1.5L TSI mill which generates 150 PS on tap with a peak torque of 250 Nm. As of now, there is only a 7-speed DSG which takes care but a manual would have been appreciated. It comes with cylinder deactivation technology which further allows it to be more economical.
