Amaan Shaikh declared Best Apprentice from India at Volkswagen Groups Global Best Apprentice Award 2021
Volkswagen Group presents the Best Apprentice Award every year to the fifty most talented apprentices to fifty trainees from various countries across the globe. This year, Amaan Shaikh bagged the top honours for India at the VW Best Apprentice Award 2021. Amaan is a 19-year old Mechtronics Technician from Pune and is regarded as one of the most talented up-and-coming professionals who completed their vocational training last year. Just like every year, the German carmaker presented this award to the 50 most talented apprentices, honouring their outstanding professional competence and performance. This award was presented to 50 trainees from 19 countries and the top place was bagged by Amaan Shaikh as he impressed the panel with hill skills and competencies in Work planning, Machining, PLC and robotic programming, Installation and commissioning, Troubleshooting of mechatronics system, etc. The Mechatronics 2021 program is part of `AVWs global initiative based on the unique training methodology using advanced technology to upskill and re-skill talent. The program gave apprentices an opportunity for global exposure in economies including Germany, China, and Brazil.

program. I am confident that these learnings and skills will play an important role in my career progression and I am also
hoping that I can make a meaningful contribution to the future of mobility.
