Aprilia SR 125 Detailed Review
-
The SR 125 continues with the familiar design treatment that we were introduced to back in 2021. It retains the large LED headlamp on the front apron, along with the sharply-designed body panels, the compact body, and the X-shaped tail lamp. The seat also continues to be quite wide, and it also retains things such as the motorcycle-type turn indicators and the upswept exhaust.
-
Aprilia is offering three colour options on the SR125, which include both single-tone matte finishes and dual-tone matte and glossy finishes. The three paint schemes available on the SR125 include Matte Black, Mazda Grey with Matt Black, and Glossy Red with Matt Black. The alloy rims also carry on with the twin-spoke treatment.
SR 125 body specifications:
| Ground Clearance | 155 mm |

-
The SR 125 retains the familiar 124.5cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder powertrain from before. However, while it used to produce 9.78bhp and 9.70Nm of torque, in its current guise, this engine now produces 10.5bhp and 10.4Nm of torque.
-
This engine, while not the most refined out there, has been known for great performance in its category, with solid mid-range torque to be found. It also sounds sporty, if not slightly rough, furthermore adding to its performance-oriented nature.
-
The SR 125 also retains the familiar setup from before; it is underpinned by the familiar tubular chassis, which continues to hang off of telescopic forks and a monoshock. It also carries over the 14-inch alloy rims shod on all-terrain tyres. These elements help the SR 125 handle brilliantly when attacking corners and riding enthusiastically, but it can be slightly stiff for daily riding.
-
In terms of features, the SR 125 now finally gets a new 5-inch TFT instrument cluster, thus replacing the antiquated LCD display from before. The TFT display comes with bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and call/SMS alerts, and you also get things such as a USB-C charging port, and a boot lamp. However, it continues to get a hydraulic combi-braking system instead of ABS.
