The new TVS Star City Plus is built on a single cradle tubular frame. The motorcycle's suspension is controlled by telescopic forks in the front and a 5-step hydraulic shock absorber in the rear. It performs well over challenging terrain and offers better comfort and ride quality. The rear 110 mm drum brake is in charge of stopping this commuter motorcycle. A 240 mm disc brake or a 130 mm drum brake are available up front.
The 240 mm front disc brake model is vastly superior to the 130 mm drum brake and is recognised for its outstanding bite, but the 130 mm front and rear drum brake does not fall short either. Another safety feature on the motorcycle is SBT, or Synchronized Braking Technology. Tubeless tyres are also used on the front and rear of the Star City Plus. The size of the front tyre is 2.75 X 17 41P 4PR, while the size of the rear tyre is 3.0 X 17 50P 6PR. These tyres should ensure adequate grip on rough parts of the road and offer strong resistance to aquaplaning.
