BMW 3-Series
The current-gen 3 Series has been carrying on with small tweaks here and there for quite a while. It continues with both petrol and diesel options, both being 2.0-litre, four-cylinder units. There is also the more performance-focused M340i, with a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder unit. However, a new-gen 3 Series is likely to make its global debut in 2026, with Neue Klasse-inspired styling, while retaining the powertrains from the current-gen car. There will also be an all-electric version as well.

Latest On BMW 3-Series
Last Updated on 11th June'25: BMW has recently delisted the 330Li variant of the 3 Series Gran Limousine from its Indian website, sparking speculation about an upcoming update. While no official statement has been made, this move suggests that a facelifted version or a new variant lineup could be in the pipeline. Currently, the 3 Series Gran Limousine is still offered in both petrol and diesel options, and the recently launched M Sport Pro Edition continues to be available at Rs 62.60 lakh (ex-showroom).
The BMW 3 Series, a perfect combination of performance and comfort, continues to be sold in its Grand Limousine avatar, as well as the performance-oriented M340i version. The M340i was updated in 2024 with new color options, interior upholstery, and the M adaptive suspension made standard. Additionally, the BMW M340i has become India’s fastest production car manufactured in India.
