I am using a 2015 BMW 320d which I bought second hand in 2017. The car has run for around 80 thousand kilometres so far and is going very strong without any issues. The fuel economy figures that I get from this car stand at around 14-15 KMPL in mixed usage. The car is extremely comfortable and fun to drive making it a great car for highway travel. The overall seating is low which makes it difficult for the older people to get in and out of the car. Apart from that, the service costs of the vehicle stand at around fifteen to twenty thousand rupees but the parts and components of the vehicle are on the expensive side. I will definitely recommend this vehicle to anyone who is looking to buy a compact, fun to drive, and a comfortable luxury sedan.
I own a 2020 BMW 330i which has run for around 3 thousand kilometres. The new 3 Series look extremely good and I like the overall design language of the car. The interiors are nice and feature loaded which made me choose this car over its rivals. Apart from that, the seats at the front and at the rear are extremely spacious and there is ample amount of space inside the cabin. The steering response from the car may not be as good as the old model, but I love the way the car handles. The turbocharged petrol engine is super good in terms of overall refinement and smoothness levels and offers ballistic performance. I get around 10 KMPL in mixed usage and pushing this car is always fun.
BMW 3-series has been the best seller of its segment and also a best-selling BMW model. That’s for a reason – its athletic driving behaviour and stylish looks. The 3-series is a desirable car and when BMW launched the G20 version in India, I couldn’t resist buying one. I bought the diesel as that is economical and powerful. BMW diesel engines are very powerful, they may not be very refined but great performance is obvious. The 3-series offers serious thrills and it spins its wheels even with traction control ON. The quality of the interiors is top-notch and you can find any niggles. The BMW touchscreen system is best in business and the driver’s display is crisp. You do lack the rear seat space but the car offers a smooth ride. If you have spare 50 lakhs and you want to get fun out of them, get a bimmer!
