Ford Endeavour Overview

Last Updated on 17th Apr'24 : Ford has confirmed its re-entry into the Indian markets after a short gap and the Ford Endeavour is all set to be re-introduced in the market. However, get ready to forget the Endeavour moniker as it is likely to be shelved. The Endeavour on its re-entry into the Indian market is very likely to be called the Ford Everest as is the case with other international markets.

Launch : New Ford Endeavour is expected to Launch in India in November 2024

Design and Dimensions :The Endeavour 2024 is expected to have a similar appearance to the Ford Ranger pickup truck. The C-shaped LED DRLs and two horizontal slats across the width of the grille with the Ford logo in the center will be carried over from the Ranger. It should have LED taillights and a few cosmetic changes at the back. The SUV's length is likely to be increased over that of its predecessor.

Features : The upcoming model will feature a redesigned dashboard, a spacious 12-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster, a gesture-controlled powered tailgate, a three-spoke steering wheel, remote start, a charging pad, a heated and ventilated front seats, and a 360-degree camera system. Safety features include ADAS, nine airbags, hands-free parking, ABS, engine immobilizer, electronic parking brake, child locks, and anchor points for child seats.

Engine : The global Ford Endeavour offers multiple engine options: two 2.0-litre diesel variants (single and twin-turbo), a 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel, and a 2.3-litre turbo-petrol. However, it's unlikely that all these options will be available when it's relaunched here. In the past, the Indian version only featured the smaller 2.0-litre diesel engine after the larger 3.2-litre engine was phased out.

Price : The upcoming Ford 2024 Endeavour is anticipated to be priced between Rs 35.00 to Rs 40.00 Lakh.

Rivals : The Ford 2024 Endeavour will compete head-to-head with SUVs like the Toyota Fortuner and MG Gloster.

The car is superb but need to be priced till 50 lakhs otherwise sales will definitely be affected since there are other vehicles with lesser price and same features.

2.0 engine will be most selling in India this time. Should come back with attractive buy back offers from day 1 to change the mind of all buyers for sure.

It is a great vehicle. I am fan of this monster. The fact is that in India this segment is totally blank without Endevour. We don't have any options apart from Fortuner.
