Lastest Updated On 23rd Feb’23: Hyundai will be launching the 2023 new-gen Verna in India on March 21. The new-gen Verna is expected to be a tech and feature packed sedan with features like level-2 ADAS, next-gen connected car tech, new larger touchscreen infotainmtn system, new fully digital drivers display, etc. It will miss out on a diesel engine and will get two RDE-compliant & E20 flex fuel ready petrol engine options i.e. a 1.5 litre turbo with manual or DCT gearbox or a 1.5 litre NA with manual or CVT gearbox. The bookings for the sedan are open now.

Although the sedan market in India isn’t attracting as many as buyers the SUV segment, manufactures are still pushing in great models. This includes the Verna and Hyundai will be launching a major update of the model for 2023. Real world tests are now underway and the company might launch this version at the upcoming Auto Expo.

Family Friendly
