2025 Renault Kiger Design

On first impressions, the 2025 Kiger does look like an all-new car, especially when viewed head-on. The split-pattern treatment for the front-end, and the new Renault logo give this car a fresher appearance. The Kiger also uses a new element running to both sides of the bonnet, which appears lifted off of the new Triber. The headlamps, however, continue to be the same units and they carry on with the same placement as well, below the DRLs. The bumpers on both ends are also redesigned, and they also add a certain imposing stance.

From the sides, and the rear, however, things have not changed much, and the car remains familiar otherwise. The side profile carries on unchanged, but the design for the wheel covers is new. Towards the rear, the C-shaped tail lamps have also been carried over, but the smoke effect is new. There are two new paint schemes available as well; Oasis Yellow and Shadow Grey, alongside existing options: Radiant Red, Caspian Blue, Ice Cool White, Moonlight Silver, and Stealth Black.
Overall, the 2025 Kiger does look and feel fresher than the outgoing car. That said, design is a subjective matter, and we won't be too surprised if there are people who might think the car feels too familiar to the outgoing model.
2025 Renault Kiger Interiors And Features

The interiors of the new Renault Kiger have not changed too much either, as most of the layout from the outgoing car has been carried over. However, the Kiger now gets a dual-tone black and light-grey theme. The dashboard retains the same 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, but the centre console has been tweaked slightly, and the Kiger also gets a new steering wheel, with the new Renault logo taking centre-stage. The instrument cluster differs, depending on the variant you choose.
Given the availability of cameras on the Kiger, you might be mistaken in thinking that it gets a 360-degree camera. However, strangely that isn't the case here, as you cannot get a 360-degree view of the car's surroundings. Instead, you will have to choose between various modes to view different angles of the car. How this works in the real world is something Shipranshu will answer in the first drive review of the car.

There have been some interesting feature additions, as the Kiger now gets ventilated front seats, a multi-view camera, rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlamps, ESP, hill-start assist, and a tyre-pressure monitoring system. Apart from these things, the 2025 Kiger also comes equipped with six airbags as standard. It also continues to offer three drive modes, wireless smartphone connectivity, automatic air conditioning, rear A/C vents, keyless card access, ABS, and traction control among other things.
2025 Renault Kiger Powertrains

The 2025 Kiger carries on with the same set of powertrains before. The first happens to be the 1.0-litre nat-asp petrol engine, producing 71bhp and 96Nm of torque, paired to a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed AMT. The other is the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine which puts out 98bhp and 160Nm of torque with the 5-speed manual. The torque figure goes down marginally to 152Nm with the CVT.
Given that the Kiger carries over its mechanicals from the outgoing model, we do not expect the driving and handling characteristics to change by a very huge margin. However, that said, our lips are sealed, and we will give you a proper opinion in our first drive review.

Verdict
The new Kiger receives just about enough tweaks to keep it fresh and relevant against its rivals. However, what remains to be seen is how much (or not) has the driving experience has changed with this update. Stay tuned for our review!
