Renault Kiger

Renault has slashed prices of its entry-level models following the GST 2.0 revision, making the Renault Kiger and Renault Triber more affordable across variants. The Kiger sees a price drop of up to Rs 96,395, while the Triber becomes cheaper by up to Rs 80,195, as the brand passes on the full tax benefit to buyers.
This revision stems from reduced GST rates on sub-4 metre cars, aimed at stimulating demand in the mass-market segment. Overall, the price cut enhances Renault’s competitiveness and could help boost sales, especially in a price-sensitive market.

The Renault Kiger facelift focuses on making the SUV more feature-rich and safer rather than changing its engines or core layout. It adds major upgrades like 6 airbags and ESC as standard, a multi-view camera, ventilated seats, cruise control with drive modes, and an improved Arkamys sound system, significantly boosting comfort and tech appeal. However, it still misses out on key features like ADAS and a larger infotainment screen, which some rivals now offer.

The facelifted Renault Kiger has been launched with prices starting at Rs 6.29 lakh, bringing subtle design tweaks and added features rather than a complete overhaul. 
It gets a refreshed front-end, minor interior updates, and new features like a 360-degree camera, ventilated seats, TPMS, and six airbags as standard, improving both convenience and safety. Mechanically, the SUV remains unchanged, continuing with the same 1.0-liter NA and turbo-petrol engine options.

Renault has teased the updated Renault Kiger ahead of its August 24 launch, hinting at a subtle mid-cycle facelift rather than a complete redesign. 
The teasers reveal styling updates like a new grille, updated logo, and revised LED tail lamps, along with a refreshed cabin featuring an 8-inch infotainment system and wireless connectivity. 
Mechanically, the SUV is expected to remain unchanged, continuing with the same 1.0-litre NA and turbo-petrol engines.
