The new Punch gets a twin-screen setup comprising a 26.03cm touchscreen infotainment system and a 17.78cm HD digital instrument cluster. This layout not only modernises the cabin but also improves information clarity for the driver.

A clear segment standout, the Punch now offers a 360-degree camera system paired with a Blind View Monitor. When the indicator is activated, the system displays a live feed from the side-mounted camera, significantly improving awareness during lane changes and tight manoeuvres.

Punch offers rain-sensing wipers and automatic headlamps, enhancing safety and convenience during sudden weather changes or low-light conditions. These systems reduce driver workload and make the Punch feel more tech-forward.

A premium convenience addition, the auto-dimming inside rear-view mirror reduces glare from trailing vehicles at night. This improves night-time driving comfort and reduces eye fatigue, a feature typically reserved for higher segments.

The Punch gets a fully automatic climate control, a feature still missing in several rivals. Importantly, Tata has paired it with rear AC vents, ensuring quicker and more uniform cooling for second-row occupants.

The 2025 Renault Kiger basically retains a lot of attributes of the outgoing car, but it gets a fresh new face, additional new features, and refreshed interiors. The set of 1.0-litre petrol powertrains have been carried over, and its prices now range between Rs 6.29 lakh to Rs 11.29 lakh (ex-showroom). It continues to compete against the Tata Punch, Nissan Magnite and the Hyundai Exter.

	The Kiger now gets a fresh new face, with a redesigned split-pattern treatment for the front-end. The grille is all-new, and it also gets the new Renault logo adapted globally. The headlamps remain familiar, and they continue to be placed below the DRLs. The front bumper has also been redesigned and looks more imposing than before.

	The side profile of the Kiger remains familiar, and it does not look too different from the outgoing car. However, it now gets a new design for the 16-inch alloy rims, and it also gets two new colour options; Oasis Yellow and Shadow Grey, alongside existing options: Radiant Red, Caspian Blue, Ice Cool White, Moonlight Silver, and Stealth Black.

	The rear also remains familiar, as it retains the same tailgate, but it now gets new cladding as part of the accessories suite. It also gets smoked tail lamps and a redesigned bumper. Additionally, the roof rails are now functional, and they can now carry loads of upto 50kg.

	<li>The 2025 Kiger continues with the same set of powertrains as before; a 1.0-litre, nat-asp petrol, and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. The nat-asp unit produces 71bhp and 96Nm of torque, paired to either a 5-speed manual or an AMT. Meanwhile, the turbo-petrol churns out 98bhp and 152-160Nm of torque, depending on whether you choose the CVT or the 5-speed manual transmission.</li>

	The interiors of the new Kiger are not too different from the outgoing car, as the layout is largely familiar. However, the black and light grey treatment is new, as is the redesigned steering wheel. That said, the centre console, round A/C controls, wireless charging pad, and the 8-inch infotainment touchscreen have been retained.

	In terms of features, the new bits include a multi-view camera, rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlamps, ESP, hill-start assist, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and ventilated front seats. Ventilated leatherette front seats are offered on higher variants, a premium comfort feature not commonly seen in this segment.

The 20.32 cm touchscreen infotainment system supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, complemented by a wireless charging pad.

The Kiger offers a spacious 405-litre boot and a high 205 mm ground clearance. This combination improves everyday practicality for luggage-heavy trips.

Safety is well taken care of, with six airbags offered as standard across all variants, along with ESP, traction control, hill start assist and TPMS.

The Kiger’s 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine delivers strong mid-range torque and is paired with three Multi-Sense drive modes, Normal, Eco and Sport.

The Kiger offers a multi-view camera setup that provides different viewing angles around the car, helping drivers manoeuvre through tight parking spaces and crowded city streets.

The features list now comes with some much-needed items.

Choice of nat-asp and turbo-petrol powertrain options.

The multi-view camera does not offer a 360-degree view.

Except for the refreshed front-end, the rest of the car looks too familiar.

The interiors also feel too familiar despite the updated colour scheme.
