Battery :Ola Electric has launched its most affordable electric scooter, the Ola S1 X at a price of Rs. 89,999 ex-showroom. This price tag makes it an entry-level e-scooter from the manufacturer. It is available in a total of 3 variants, the S1 X 2kWh, S1 X 3kWh, and the S1 X+, which is also the range-topping trim.
Range : The OLA S1 X 2kWh variant electric scooter offers a riding range of 91 km on a single charge whereas the 3 kWh version claims a range of 151 km.
Features : The scooter offers multiple riding modes, including Eco, Normal, and Sports. It comes with regenerative braking for improved energy efficiency. The S1 X is also equipped with features like a 3.5" LCD screen, LED headlight, LED brake/tail light, LED turn signals, and a digital speedometer.
Colour : The OLA S1 X is available in a range of attractive color options, including Red Velocity, Midnight, Funk, Stellar, Vogue, Porcelain White, and Liquid Silver.
Rivals : In the electric scooter market, the OLA S1 X competes with other models like the OLA S1 Air, Benling Aura, Odysse Racer, PURE EV EPluto 7G, and more.
Expert Verdict
The Ola S1 X has all the right ingredients to make it the king of its segment. It is fast, it has features that the rivals do not offer, and the range is more than sufficient for everyday use. However, the lack of disc brakes is a concern. Also, the quality could be better for new buyers.

Ola sells the S1 X in four variants: 2kWh, 3kWh, 4kWh, and Plus. All of the variants are equipped with more or less the same features. However, the 2kWh makes a strong case because of its costing.
