Triumph has launched the 2020 version of one of the most popular and much-loved street-fighter motorcycles, the Street Triple RS. It has brought the new generation model in India and it is now the lightest bike in its segment. 2020 Triumph Street Triple RS is more agile, lighter and faster than before. At Rs 11.13 lakhs, it costs the same as its predecessor which is really impressive owing to its updated features and BS6 compliance.

In its latest avatar, Triumph Street Triple RS has undergone with new sharper and meaner styling. The new headlight console with LED DRLs give it a more aggressive look and the sleeker body panels and decals add to its overall appeal. Powering the Triumph Street Triple is the updated 765cc triple-cylinder engine which now churns out blistering 121.3 hp and 79 Nm of torque @ 9350 rpm. Triumph says it now has a 9% increase in mid-range power and 9% higher torque in mid-range too. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and it also sports bi-directional quick shifter. Previous Street triple only had upshift quick-shifter.

Talking about the specs and technology, it has been improved drastically. 2020 Street Triple RS gets a new TFT display, MyTriumph connectivity features, ride by wire, self-cancelling indicators, improved riding modes including Road, Rain, Sport, Track, and Custom; adjustable ABS and switchable traction control. Triumph has also offered 60+ optional accessories which include LED scrolling indicators, new flyscreen visor and a new Bluetooth module which sports GoPro camera operations, music control and turn by turn navigation.

2020 Triumph Street Triple RS is always track-ready as before owing to its professional factory-fitted equipment. The Showa 41 mm upside down big piston forks at the front and Ohlins STX40 fully-adjustable suspension gives it poise and agility you need to get a perfect lap time. Braking performance is taken care of by Twin 310 mm floating discs with Brembo callipers at the front and single 220mm disc with Brembo calliper at the rear.

2020 Street Triple RS is available in two different colours - Mat Jet Black with aluminium & sliver decals and the other is Silver Ice with red & aluminium decals. Priced at Rs 11.13 lakh ex-showroom, PAN India, Street Triple RS has no direct rival in the Indian market and it is indeed one of a kind machine.
