What Is New?
The 2020 Yamaha Fascino 125 FI features a number of changes, most prominent of which is the introduction of a bigger and a powerful engine. Apart from this, a number of other styling changes have been made to the scooter to boost the overall aesthetics and practicality. In addition to this, the engine also features fuel injection, larger footboard, and a number of other changes.
Engine, Gearbox, and Performance
As the name suggests, the Yamaha Fascino 125 FI BS6 is powered by a 125 cc, single-cylinder engine that comes with fuel injection technology. This air-cooled engine churns out 8.2 PS of maximum power while the peak torque figure stands ar 9.7 Nm. The power is channeled to the rear wheels via a V-Belt Automatic (CVT) gearbox. This scooter gets a claimed fuel economy figures of 58 kmpl. In rear-world condition, we can expect the Fascino 125 to deliver around 45-50 kmpl.

Exterior Looks, and Dimensions
With the new update, the Fascino 125 features a number of changes but looks largely similar to the outgoing model. to start with, the chrome elements used at the front give it a more pronounced look, and the curves and cuts are sharper too. The V-shaped rear tail lights look bold but a little overdone. In addition, the scooter now gets a larger grab rail and a textured finish on the handlebar panel. In all, the Fascino 125 looks smart and much more mature when compared to the outgoing model. The base model of the Fascino is available in five color options - Cyan Blue, Matt Blue, Metallic Black, Dark Matt Blue, and Sauve Copper. On the other hand, the Fascino Disc variant gets two more colour options - Red and Yellow.

Ride and Handling
The scooter gets a telescopic fork at the front while at the rear, it gets unit swing type of suspension with a single shock absorber. The front tyre size is also larger than before and the scooter now gets black, 12-inch alloy wheels. The buyers can also opt for disc brakes by paying a slight premium over the base model which gets drum brakes at the front and at the rear. With this being said, the Yamaha Fascino 125 FI continues to be a comfortable scooter and delivers a great ride and handling combo.
