It is essentially a rebadged and redesigned version of the River Indie from an Indian company in which Yamaha has invested. - Powering the Yamaha EC-06 is a 4 kWh battery pack paired with a 6.7 kW motor, producing a maximum torque of 26 Nm and delivering a top speed of 79 km/h. The motor offers three riding modes - Eco, Standard, and Power - along with a reverse assist mode for added convenience.
- The battery is backed by a 3-year or 30,000 km warranty, and charging is hassle-free thanks to standard home plug-in compatibility.
- Yamaha claims the battery can be fully charged in eight hours. The e-scooter is IP67-certified for its motor and battery, while other electronic components are IP65-rated, ensuring strong water and dust resistance.
