Now You Can Officially Pre-Book The Aprilia SXR 125 in India - Launch Soon

Just a few months ago, Aprilia launched the all-new Aprilia SXR 160 in the Indian market. The SXR 160 was the first maxi-scooter from Aprilia in the country. Also, it is one of the most expensive gearless scooters currently on sale in India. To attract more buyers, the company will soon launch the new Aprilia SXR 125 in India and even the bookings for the same are now open.

The Aprilia SXR 125 will share its design elements and cycle parts with the SXR 160. In fact, both these maxi-scooters look completely identical to each other in the pictures. Just like the SXR 160, the new Aprilia SXR 125 will also be available in four colour variants. They are Matt Blue, Matt Black, Glossy Red and Glossy White. It looks very handsome and has a macho appeal.

Talking about design elements, upfront it gets large twin LED headlamps with LED DRLs. Then, it gets a small blacked-out windscreen, LED turn-indicators and minor fairing with chunky body panels. Moving to the side profile, one can see that it gets a large scooped-out footboard area, a long and comfortable single-piece seat, etc. At the rear, it gets LED tail lamps and unique split grab rails that have been neatly integrated into the body.

The Aprilia SXR 125 will share its mechanicals with the SR 125 and Storme 125. This means that it will be powered by a BS6 compliant 124.45cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, three-valve, fuel-injected engine. This motor churns out 9.9 PS of power at 7700 RPM and 9.7 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM. The engine comes mated to a CVT. For suspension duties, it will get telescopic forks at the front and an adjustable spring-loaded mono-shock absorber at the rear.

The braking duties on the scooter will be performed by a disc brake at the front and a drum unit at the rear. It will get CBS too. The bookings for the new Aprilia SXR 125 are now open in India and so it will be launched soon. It is expected to be priced around Rs. 1.10 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi.
