Force Motors has unveiled the next-gen shared mobility platform- T1N and it will be showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo. Force Motors has done research of over 4 years in the making of this people mover. It will be available in diesel, CNG and 100% electric powertrains.
This next-generation platform is very advanced and has been developed to take on global competition. The T1N is based on a monocoque chassis which is the first in its segment in India. Force T1N comes with a lot of other segment-first features like
- Crash and rollover safety
- Driver and co-driver airbag
- Independent front suspension with transverse parabolic springs
- All four disc brakes and ABS, EBD, ETDC and ESP
- Projector headlamps and daytime running LEDs
- Tilt and telescopic steering wheel
After looking at all these features, you will definitely be surprised by the technological advancements Force Motors has brought to the commercial van segment with the T1N. It will replace the Force Traveller in the future and it has been built from the ground up by keeping electrification in mind as Force says they will make a 100% electric model as well.

The independent front suspension with transverse parabolic springs is the first in the segment and it promises to give the best in class ride quality and comfort to the passengers. It has also been offered with crash and rollover safety as it will be sold in international markets too. Some features like dual airbags indeed not being mandatory by the government have also been offered to raise the bar of safety. The 2-box design has helped to keep the NVH levels in check as the engine doesn't intrude in the interiors.

Force Motors T1N will be offered with a new and more powerful BS6-compliant common rail direct injection diesel engine which will produce 350 Nm of torque. In future, T1N will also be launched with CNG and fully electric versions. It will be showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo meanwhile the launch is expected to take place at the end of this year. The current Tempo Traveller is already a hit in the commercial segment and faces no heat from the competition. With the T1N, Force Motors will even garner private buyers who are in the market for a comfortable family mover.
