
Every month carmakers bring in a huge discount to lure the customers and also increase their market share. This April 2021 is no different for the South Korean carmaker, Hyundai as they are offering a discount of up to Rs 50,000 on some of its models.
Their portfolio includes cars like Santro, Grand i10, Grand i10 Nios, Aura, Venue, Verna, Creta and then the full-fledged Tucson which offers the AWD capability. Hyundai Aura

One of the sub-4-metre sedans with subjective looks, Aura packs multiple engine options along with features loaded up to the brim. However, the sales are not that much and the Aura is being sold with the highest discount of Rs 50,000.

This huge discount is only offered if you pick the 1.0L turbocharged petrol unit which generates 100 PS of power with 172 Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The discount is observed as Rs 30,000 as cash, Rs 15,000 as exchange and another Rs 5,000 as corporate. The other 1.2L petrol and diesel are available with Rs 25,000 discount while the CNG only gets Rs 15,000.
Hyundai Grand i10 Nios
The Maruti Swift and Tata Tiago rival, Grand i10 Nios is available with a discount of up to Rs 45,000 for the turbo version while the petrol and diesel sticks with Rs 25,000 only. The Grand i10 Nios shares the same engine options as that of Aura. The turbo petrol discount is seen as Rs 30,000 cash, Rs 10,000 exchange and Rs 5,000 corporate while the others get segregated like Rs 10,000 exchange, Rs 10,000 as cash and Rs 5,000 as corporate.
Hyundai i20

One of the second-best premium hatchbacks in sales, the i20 lost its charm because of the expensive pricing and to make up for that, both the turbo as well as diesel version now get a Rs 15,000 discount offer. This is segregated as Rs 10,000 as exchange and Rs 5,000 as corporate.
The 1.0L turbo petrol motor gets mated to a 6-speed iMT and you also get a 7-speed DCT unit. This engine is similar to the Venue which generates 120 PS with 172 Nm of peak torque. The diesel is a detuned version of the new Creta and the 1.5L unit now makes 100 PS with 240 Nm of peak torque.

Hyundai Santro
The entry-level hatchback from Hyundai is being offered with a discount of up to Rs 35,000 for some of the variants. All three Magna, Sportz and Asta get Rs 20,000 as cash, Rs 10,000 as exchange and Rs 5,000 as a corporate offer. The base Era gets limited to Rs 25,000 offer only.
