Mini Countryman JCW

Mini has dropped a new teaser for the Countryman John Cooper Works (JCW), confirming that the most performance-focused ICE version of the Countryman is coming to India on October 14. Meanwhile, Mini only offered the JCW styling pack with the electric Countryman; now this will be the first fully ICE-powered JCW trim. So, with this JCW, the car gets sporty upgrades, including red accent trims, an aggressive front bumper, larger alloys and quad exhaust pipes. Moreover, the grille has been blacked out with the checkered flag pattern to underline the brand's character.

Meanwhile, at the rear, you get a more pronounced spoiler along with a dual-tone bumper. Stepping inside the cockpit, it welcomes you with a similar dashboard, but with contrasting red accents and more sporty-looking pedals. Not just this, the infotainment boasts JCW-specific graphics.
Powertrain
At the heart, the Mini Countryman JCW comes equipped with a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol mill which belts out 300 hp and 440 Nm of peak torque. However, the power is channelised to the wheels through a 7-speed DCT gearbox. Notably, it comes with an AWD configuration and can sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds.
Pricing
The pricing will be out during the launch and track experience on October 14, but estimates suggest it could be priced around Rs 70 lakh (ex-showroom).
