SNAP - India's Most Affordable Battery-Swapping EV Scooter
Odysse Electric has teamed up with Indofast Energy to launch SNAP, an electric scooter at an introductory price of Rs 49,999 (ex-showroom). At this price tag, it has become India's most affordable swappable battery scooter. So, gone are the days when you had to wait for hours to charge up your EV two-wheeler. With SUN Mobility's battery swapping tech that has been integrated into the SNAP. You can simply swap out a drained battery for a fully charged one in under two minutes. And with Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) subscription plans that start at just Rs 999/month for 25 kWh and Rs 2,499/month for 75 kWh, you only pay for the energy you use, not the battery itself.
What's Under The Panels?
The Odyssey electric's SNAP is powered by a robust 2000W IP67-rated waterproof motor, and can go up to a top speed of 55km/h. The most important thing, it provides an impressive range of 100km per swap. While in terms of features, it has cruise control and a CAN-enabled display, which real real-time battery and range updates. The SNAP will initially hit the roads in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad, with a phased rollout in other cities as well.
