
Carmakers often introduce huge discount schemes to attract buyers and improve sales. Sometimes, even the largest car manufacturer which is Maruti needs to bring in the discount on some models ranging as high as Rs 50,000 to improve sales. In this article, we will be sharing the discount figures for the Maruti Arena cars for April 2021.
Maruti Alto 800

The entry-level hatchback from the carmaker which is also been the best selling car for some years now is available with Rs 32,000 discount. This figure is further seen as Rs 17,000 as cash and another Rs 15,000 as an exchange.

Under the hood, the Alto 800 is powered by a 0.8L engine which generates as much as 47 bhp at 6,000 RPM with a peak torque of 69 Nm at 3,500 RPM. This unit is also available in the CNG version but the power becomes 10% less. It gets a 5-speed manual gearbox only.
Maruti S-Presso

Also called the mini SUV, the S-Presso sells like hotcakes because of its funky design and cool features list. It comes with dual airbags, power windows, a larger touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth and Android connectivity. The price range for this one starts from Rs 3.71 lakh and the top model fetches Rs 5.19 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. The discount on this once goes as high as Rs 29,000 which includes Rs 14,000 as cash and another Rs 15,000 as exchange.
Maruti Celerio
The old-school looking design with bare minimum features but still does good in sales, Maruti Celerio is long due for an update which will arrive very soon. This one is available with a discount of Rs 30,000 discount and comes with a 1.0L petrol unit. This unit is also available with the CNG version but the power figures are dropped by 10%.
Maruti Eeco
The affordable MPV and the only RWD car from Maruti's portfolio, Eeco is available with a discount of Rs 25,000 which is seen as Rs 10,000 as cash and another Rs 15,000 as an exchange unit. Maruti Eeco is powered by a 1.2L G-Series petrol unit and is also available in CNG.
Maruti Swift

The Swift got so popular that it was the best selling car of 2020 and in the newer avatar, the hatchback is available with Rs 50,000 discount which is the highest in the Maruti Arean portfolio. This is further seen as Rs 30,000 as cash and another Rs 20,000 as an exchange. However, this is reserved for the base LXI version only and the mid-spec VXI and higher ZXI and ZXI+ gets Rs 30,000 discount only.

Maruti Dzire
Also known as the stretched version of the Swift, the Dzire is available with a discount of Rs 28,000 for the LXI and VXI while the ZXI and ZXI+ are available with Rs 20,000 off. The Dzire is powered by a 1.2L DualJet petrol which makes 90 PS with 113 Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual as standard and an optional AMT.
Maruti Vitara Brezza
This compact SUV is sold with a 1.5L naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine only. It generates 103 bhp with 138 Nm of peak torque and you get a 5-speed manual as standard while the 4-speed torque converter is an optional unit. The Brezza attracts Rs 30,000 discount for LXI and VXI while ZXI and ZXI+ get Rs 20,000 discount.
