Simple Ultra
This electric scooter is all about long-distance touring and a fast riding experience, as the 6.5 kWh battery pack is a big deal for an electric scooter, and the official numbers say it all - 400 km of range, a top speed of 115 km/h, and 0 to 40 km/h in 2.77 seconds. It also features four-level traction control and a seven-inch display with high-definition graphics. Buyers looking for a sporty scooter that eliminates range anxiety and delivers strong performance will find the Ultra extremely appealing. However, with a price tag of Rs 2.34 lakh, demand is likely to be limited, making it a relatively exclusive product.

Customers can book the scooter right away on Simple Energy's official website or at its retail stores, and can also take a test ride. The brand currently has around 70 touchpoints across cities like Bengaluru, Delhi, Patna, Bhopal, Agra, Goa, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Kochi, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj (Aurangabad), and Chennai. It also plans to expand to Nagpur, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar, and more cities in the coming months.

Its closest rival is the Ola S1 Pro+, which offers a range of 320 km and a top speed of 120 km. Another competitor is the Ather 450 Apex, which is designed for high-speed riding.
Verdict
The Simple Ultra positions itself as a flagship electric scooter focused on outright performance and long-range capability, setting a new benchmark in the segment. Its impressive specs make it appealing to enthusiasts who want both speed and practicality in an EV. However, the premium pricing will limit its mass appeal, making it more of a niche, aspirational product rather than a volume seller.
