VLF Mobster 1000 Bookings In 48 Hours Details
MotoHaus commenced bookings for the VLF Mobster for a token amount of Rs 999, and the first 2500 units would be available at an introductory price of Rs 1.29 lakh onwards (ex-showroom). Given VLF's relatively new entry in the Indian market, the Mobster will be available in the following cities; Delhi, Lucknow, Pune, Ahmedabad, Sangli, Kolhapur, Hassan, Kannur, Ratnagiri, and Goa.

The Mobster comes with a rather unique design which shows off its sporty and adventurous intentions. There is a split-design panel up front with twin headlamps on either side, and a windscreen at the head section. The rest of the profile features panels that appear futuristic, and it also gets multi-function LED tail lamps. Further complementing this setup are 12-inch whees sitting on thick rubber. There are four colour schemes on offer here; Crimson Override, Ghostlight, Ash Circuit, and Neon Venom.
Powered by a 125cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, the Mobster puts out 12.1bhp at 8250rpm and 11.7Nm of torque at 6500rpm, pushing it to a claimed top speed of 100kmph. It also hangs off of conventional telescopic forks and twin gas-charged shocks. Interestingly, VLF has also given out a claimed mileage figure of 46kmpl; something we would like to verify soon.

The equipment list includes a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity, navigation, illuminated switches, an auto start-stop function, dual-channel ABS, and switchable traction control.
Verdict
The Mobster looks stylish and comes with many features on offer, but for a 125cc scooter, the price tag is on the higher side, especially considering that larger rivals like the TVS Ntorq 150 and the Aprilia SR 175 are available for much lesser after the recent new GST regime kicking in.
