2026 Hero Xtreme 125R

Hero MotoCorp has quietly unveiled an updated version of the Xtreme 125R at a dealer event. Visually, the bike now boasts a red and black paint scheme with better graphics, taking cues from the bigger sibling, Xtreme 250R. The Changes go on to the bar end mirrors and the handlebar, which seems taller. Meanwhile, the LED projector headlamps remain intact as before, along with LED taillamps and indicators. While other design cues like a split seat setup and a monoshock unit are carried over.
The most notable change is the addition of cruise control and the new LCD instrument cluster. The cluster is borrowed from the Xtreme 250R and Glamour X, which also boast modern-day connectivity features like Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and more. Meanwhile, the cruise control shared from the Glamour X is referred to as a standout feature among the rivals.

Mechanically, the motorcycle continues to be the same, equipped with a tried and tested 124.7cc, single cylinder, air-cooled engine, which belts out 11.4 bhp and 10.5 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, it comes paired with a 5-speed gearbox. With rivals such as the Honda CB125 Hornet and TVS Raider 125 pushing the boundaries of what a 125cc commuter can offer, Hero's update signals a clear intent to stay relevant in a fast-evolving segment.
