Brixton Crossfire Storr 500 Teased: Rugged ADV Design

The teaser video of the upcoming Brixton Crossfire Storr 500 offers only glimpses of the silhouette and standalone shots, but earlier test mules have revealed plenty about its design DNA. True to its ADV intent, the Storr 500 features a tall windscreen, large sculpted fuel tank, knuckle guards, and rugged body panels, all of which emphasize its touring focus. At 2,171 mm long, 916 mm wide, and 1,432 mm tall, the motorcycle has a substantial road presence, while its 839 mm seat height and 209 kg curb weight underline its middleweight credentials.

Underneath the skin, the Storr 500 uses a tubular steel frame, paired with KYB upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock for handling rough terrain. The bike rolls on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels shod with Pirelli tyres, ensuring off-road readiness. Stopping power comes from a 320 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc, assisted by switchable dual-channel ABS and traction control. Feature highlights are expected to include a vertically stacked TFT display, full LED lighting, and modern rider aids. The adventure-focused ergonomics and 16-litre fuel tank are designed to support long-distance riding.
Engine & Performance

Powering the Crossfire Storr 500 is a 486cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that produces 47 hp at 8,500 rpm and 43 Nm at 6,700 rpm, mated to a six-speed gearbox. This makes it a close competitor to the Honda NX500 in terms of performance, while likely being more affordable. Compared to the single-cylinder Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, the Brixton offers a twin-cylinder setup, hinting at smoother highway cruising and better refinement.

Once launched, the Crossfire Storr 500 will slot between the Himalayan 450 priced at Rs 3.05 lakh, ex-showroom, and the Honda NX500, which is priced at Rs 6.33 lakh, ex-showroom. As for its launch, it is expected somewhere towards the end of 2025.
Verdict
The Brixton Crossfire Storr 500 arrives at a time when Indian riders are demanding more versatile, powerful, and affordable adventure motorcycles. With its robust design, twin-cylinder engine, and feature-packed hardware, it looks well-positioned to challenge both the established Royal Enfield and the premium Honda. If Brixton manages to price it competitively, the Crossfire Storr 500 could very well become one of the most exciting new entrants in the mid-capacity adventure segment, especially at a time when the demand for adventure bikes is gradually rising.
