Last Updated on 11th June'25: Kawasaki KLX 230 variants lineup just got bigger with two new trims called – Sherpa S ABS and DF ABS for international markets. The first one is designed for multi-purpose usage, where its seat height and ground clearance is kept lower to expand its audience band. DF is designed for hardcore off-roaders with special changes made to make it ready to climb any top of the mountain. Although, in India we only get the standard KLX 230.

The Kawasaki KLX 230 S is a dual-sport motorcycle.It is expected to launch in India under Rs. 2 lakh (ex-showroom).The KLX 230 S will be the brand’s third localised product after the Ninja 300 and W175. It sources its power from a 233cc, single-cylinder, air cooled engine that produces 20 bhp of power and 17 Nm of torque. Once launched, the dual-sport motorycle will primarily compete with the Hero Xpulse 200 4V and the upcoming Xpulse 210.

It is lightweight and quite easy to handle on trails and in the city, long-travel suspension and high ground clearance.
